i've recently got more and more interrested in knowing how a female producer views music. it's well known that most of them have some sort of help with making music since they don't have a great interrest in getting to know the program. i guess it's mainly because of the large ammount of terms and functions which are kind of toys for boys, so i think the bond between male and female in studio is essential... but still some of them produce on their own and the results are really interresting in terms of the feeling they bring thru the medium. what do you think, is a female track any different from the one which a guy did?
debate!
female producers and their view on music

Drop the idea of becoming someone else, because you are already a masterpiece.

i don't think that this topic was sexist at all, plaster.

as far as female producers go, unfortunately they're
outnumbered by the testosterone. but in the end,
i don't believe that makes much of a difference because
good music is good music, despite genitalia.
e.g. one of my favourites, regardless of gender, is ada

i really don't think that ANYone can argue with her
production or pinpoint any discernible
difference from any of her male counterparts.
if anything, people probably pay more attention
to her because she's in a male-dominated
field which works in her favour, i would think.
