The best i can think of is Windows Notepad - open a blank doc and type a list of the names of your favourite tracks. It works for all genres; from hymns - hardcore.

ps. is this silly threads week or has april 1st come early?

no it was a serious request.

i am looking for a program that people use to create sets who do not compose tracks themselves.

i want to insert tracks i like and adjust their BPM and volume so they blend into each other smoothly.

i am looking for a program that is easier to use than logic or cubase.

Try VirtualDJ, you can get a free 30-day demo for it on their site. Just google it and it should come up.

yeah, Virtualdj should fit your needs.
for more advanced options try out Traktor, i believe they have a demo on their website too.
also, ableton live can give you some great results as well in terms of dj sets. try them all out.
