I'm in the market myself for new speakers. I don't have a lot of money to dish out. for me over $500 would be too much at this time.

I think they are under $500 from what I remember.

alesis mach 1's. Heard them, like them, and may buy them in the near future.

hmm im planning to buy myself one of the genlec 8000 series
not sure if the 8030 or 8040.. but im tending to the 8030 because my room is kinda small :-/

anyone owns one and/or can give a review on those? how they sound etc?
