hawtin effects
Does anyone know what kind of effects mr hawtin uses in his live sets. Maybe you've heard the timewarp set, he uses them a lot there. Specially the one which makes a really metalic sound with harsh delays. I'm using ableton live to reproduce something like that, but no success yet.

I'm quite sure (atleast from his hardware days) that he was using an ensoniq dp4 effect unit... (with the rather known phaser) ... extremly flexible unit, you can program your reverb for example that the more higher the input gets, the more it increases the decay time and such things. a bit gritty sound, but we all enjoy that don't we?

Don't forget he also uses it in combination with the awsome Allen & Heath analogue filters (in his mixer).
Sometimes he uses them at the same moment.
for Ableton users:
I use the A&H filters myself in combination with the ping-pong delay from Ableton.
It might not sound the same, but it sounds pretty cool
Hawtin indeed uses the Lexicon PSP 42
