I made a x0xb0x and I'm loving my acid-house soaked life :D

Seriously, the 303 is a fabulous instrument and building a x0xb0x is a fabulous experience.

i dont know if its still available but i remember korg had a nice little offer.
Korg Legacy Collection + an MS 20 Midi controller (with patch cables)
http://www.korg.com/gear/info.asp?a_prod_no=Legacy

it's not expensive, plus you get the feel of an MS 20, and the sound quality is very good too, and it's a very good beginner synth and once you master it, it will turn into a monster of a synth!
check that link out!
