actually the drums in that are mostly vinyl cuts sounds whatever u call it.
mixed with some others.

the melody stuff isnt from vinyl

Tape hiss can be fun too. Especially if you ahve some sort of cassette player that you don't mind abusing... get your hands down there and slow down the playback and stuff like that and record and rerecord.

I know vinyl hiss is different, but just something additional you could explore...

do u have msn messenger or so? I've recorded all types of hiss.. gotta seek through a few portable harddisks, but I'm sure I have about 100MB of waves... including dusted records, scratched records, reversed records, broken needles and so on..

yea,i hear what you saying...i tried to experiment with waves last night,which brought me to some very interresting results.
