Recently had the opportunity to play with this guy and all i can say is that he is one hell of a cool guy. He was very social which is something most of the bigger artists arent. I sat there and bullshitted with the guy for like an hour and he acted as though weve been friends for years.

Dee for president!

Yeah he was really nice when I met him, I really liked what he was playing too. The gear he was playing on was all fucked up, so his records kept skipping ever few minutes (basically whenever anyone got anywhere near the turntables). Looked really frustrating but the track selection was ridiculous. Chunky, simple, funked out quirky sh!t. I've never heard any of it out since that night or ever before, really wish I knew what it was. But it was real fresh whatever it was.

I remember an afterparty at the end of mutek this year, sammy played seating on a chair in a little hotel room for few hours, and it was a fantastic set!
