I think it's kind of bizarre that every producer is expected to be a dj and vice versa. Why don't people just do what they are good at, and leave the rest for others?

As for Juan, I know very little of his music, but everybody knows his name...

true, when someone is a great producer than people expect they are great dj's. i wouldnt call his mixing a trainwreck just because he's juan atkins, but he definatly aint a magician. and yeah,his track selection aint bad at all but sometimes it seems that he is playing for himself

the problem is Juan was good at one time, then he became a crackhead, and now he sucks - period

i had no idea he was a crackhead...well,its obvious but some ppl hide it well

he's had some drug problems
but he's past that and i have this from a very reliable source

actually, many dj's have drug problems
a lot of them don't get through the day without a few lines...
and it's mostly those of whom you wouldn't suspect that they're sniffing
well, it's their nose... and their wasted money

too bad sh!t like that happens to nice ppl...but its their own choice. tbh i hate to hear that some ppl mix while being stoned. some ppl mite hate me but im the one who would like to burn all that sh!t and enjoy in music clean.
