mmm... so agree that dear is one of the best out there. i mean, to me its amazing that he spans so many genres from what he did being more minimal as jabberjaw and false up to how aggressive and full of acid audion sounds. what amazes me mostly is how it´s good no matter the genre, no one else has been able to to that i think.

would be awesome to see live, which i probably never will. a place in stockholm/sweden was about to book him but cancelled it since they didn´t think he was hot enought or something.

i caught his live show in chicago (2003?). it was solid
techno for about 2 hours...and he was a damn nice guy.

looks like me and brianc will be able to post a new review
of him tomorrow nite...another chicago show at the smartbar
in about 20 hours.

Matthew Dear and the whole Spectral crew are awesome Audion's Suckfish is my favourite release of his and the Roman Flugel remix of Just Fucking is amazing....

I was a little disappointed with the Fabric mix tho, but I guess everyone has an off day

he produces nothing but quality tracks. its really amazing how he can produce so many different styles under his other monikers. my favorite is his productions as False, really great stuff!
