the vocal is sampled from a Lil Kim track called The Jump Off. But this baseline is sick.
I've been wondering around for some time now why he didn't release this one yet.

M J is definitely one of my all time Favorite Artists... always unbelievable music and seeing him Live - YOWZA - :shock:

I finally got a chance to ask him personally, as I was lucky enough to make many of the Wagon Repair Family's acquaintances during WMC and he told me there are definite licensing issues with this track as I had said he pretty much sampled whole, fairly large chunk s of that Lil Kim track. I recommended playing it for her, that bassline is ridiculous I'd think she'd do anything for attention at this point. Then he thought up the idea of just "bootlegging" it and doing super limited white label under some weird name. If I get his ear at demf I won't hesitate to bring it up again...

awesome producer and musician

saw him play a liveset at Alma closing at Privilege, Ibiza...he was amazing!

and if you haven't seen Cobblestone Jazz live, i'd highly recommend it!
