One of the all time best! He can build a track like no other(Hawtin maybe) and his use of dynamics is second to none. Incredible.

I would agree with the comparison, some of his old work really is great. Well thought out and designed.

Not joking at all hotpace, actually top's lp on novamute that came out oh maybe 1994 called "asteroid" might be (dare i say) better than Hawtin if not very similiar in design! the frenchman was nasty!!!! check it out. proper 303.

correction:
asteroid came out in oct. 1996
still can't get enough of blasting the title track every now and then on a loud system...devastating!
if this isn't the closest thing to hawtin/plastikman from back then i don't know what is.

there also was an album at the same time as asteroid with fantastic tracks on it yammie yammie :wink:
