hi spinoza
welcome aboard...
always nice to see people posting interesting "new" material
(even though vladislav delay is far from new, he's still very underrated)

long live mille plateaux !

thnx roebin,
i really posted delay not as a 'new' thing but
because it's a lot of free stuff and what's more
it's on his own label. he's giving so much away!
this guy is such a transformer you never know
what is he up to.
btw i saw on this board also a lot of uploaded music
by the members, so music is obviously being played
around here and i thought 'vapaa' is a good refference
for those.

btw. when i came across that cd, i thought 'wherever
this live act took place, i must go there - that club must
have most advanced audience'. later i'd find that this
was his act for the 'imaginary club', which in fact never
existed, so he played it 'live' in an empty room. that little
bit of utopia makes it ++!

you're right it's such a pity that all that thing is
discontinued - force inc & co.

Four Tet is nice, though it ain't minimal but very organic music.

I really like Vapaa the album, probably the most sweeping album of all, but you best can not call it Vladislav Delay as he made this under his Uusitalo monniker. the man is pretty precious about his side projects and doesn;t want it to get attached to his personal Delay stuff.

hi SebCatLitter,
don't take me wrong for not replying immediatelly, i was
out for a while... well, i understand we both like them,
four tet en delay, so what the hell... it's only the matter of
personal estimations: if i would rather think that delay/uusitalo
is organic and four tet more folky, doesn't necessarily mean i
don't understand your view as well. as for what's minimal(mnml) is,
i'd rather think of it as a kind of discipline behind the music than
real quantity of sounds, even in no way does for tet play more
than any other artist mentioned by this club. btw. did you hear
'demo(n) tracks'? i just got it, and started to think that this is his
best one by now. (delay's)
greetings from amsterdam, let me know if they shouldplay
anywhere around here!
