Music detectives needed... song / artist id

If you can decipher what the hell I am talking about, you get some kinda prize..

there's this song, I don't even know what decade it's from, I am going to risk a guess and say it was the 80's..

It had this sort of organ sound, droning on in great chords.. really deep sounding (could have been a fake electro-organ or something, didn't sound very hammondy or anything). There was a sort of sombre voice almost whispering along.. had some kinda reverb on it I think.

I really need to figure this out. Any leads?

the only thing thats comes to mind with organs in it, thats 80's souding and dancey is:

LaTour "People are Still Having Sex"

and yes...I still have it

and yes....ocassionally I WILL play it

It wasn't dancey or anything like that...
it was deep feeling and it was really simple, and it was a pop or rock song or something, but not your typical of either..
