i enjoy his earlier stuff, his more recent work is a bit dry for my tastes. that being said i'm definitely going to grab casi profundo if i can, because defiance is an awesome track (and one of his older works, if i'm correct).

no doubt his earlier releases have been predominantly tech-house, but casi profundo is hardly just tech-house or just minimal. it is a very unique blend of techno, tech-house, minimal, and electro... and that in a way i've not seen anybody else do. definitely a unique producer... you guys should check out his upcoming electro releases... fucking brilliant!

definitely keep my eye on him, usually innovative grooves with intelligent structures. lot of great release, everyone should have at least a couple of his releases in thier bag!

As long as it is good music and it is loved. And Maetrik definitely makes good music in my opinion.
