Oliver Hacke<<<<Der Vampir Von Düsseldorf

Post by spalalaps »

Oliver Hacke is part of the newer, non-Detroit-influenced Generation of geman techno producers. His tracks provide both traditional and new school/DSP-production techniques, always with at least one eye kept to the Dancefloor.
Check out his latest tracks on Background, Traum/Trapez and Level to witness Hacke´s wide approach varying from clickish, three-dimensional micro-house to straight-up contemporary techno; all fit into one homogeneous style.
Oliver shows the same openness and width of musical interest when DJing at quieter or louder venues.

Discography:
Ausschnitt EP (12") Trapez
Lichtung EP (12") Background
Clip (12") Trapez
Country Grammar (12") Background
Der Vampir Von Düsseldorf (12") Trapez

Polar (12") Traum Schallplatten

Actually I really like only one track he made and it's Vampire's b-side - Ego Club Galore. Really nice 3d dubtech.

oliver hacke is one of my favourite producers of recent years, i don't think he´s ever released a track i wouldn't like. the album "subject carrier" is pure gold, and the track "taxi" on the interkontinental 4 compilation(traum) is simply awesome, probably the track i like the most from him!
