I too loved his darker stuff. I recall listening to his set at the Works in Detroit for like a month straight! The cut and paste sampling of the radio was a very interesting statement, something pretty fresh and innovative at the time. Brilliant artist all around.

After seeing him this weekend in Detroit. I am officially on the Akufen bandwagon. This guy is talented and very creative.

Sampling on another level....

I loved the album he released under Marc Leclair this year. but I havn't got into Akufen, seemed to "chopped up" for me.

Akufen @ Fabric with Herbert & Dear...one of my best party :wink:

Love Akufen, he was one of the first I heard in electronic music long long long years ago !!! :D
