Twelve hours of pure enjoyment at Time Warp in December

Those who were present at Time Warp in the Maassilo undoubtedly have had a night to remember. Laurent Garnier who refused to quit, the Romanians who built their own party on the 10thfloor, Marco Carola who rocked the building and many other highlights. Once and for all it has become clear that Time Warp is welcomed in The Netherlands. However, to the organisations Cosmopop and Evotions, this accomplishment was not enough! The one time each year this legendary techno event comes to The Netherlands, it has to ROCK, capital R-O-C-K. For the 12thof December a remarkably great line-up has been made, which would fit in just perfectly on a more than worthy festival. Time Warp proudly presents the following names:

Area 1 (22.00 – 10.00)

This is the Maassilo’s biggest hall. The domain of beautiful records, an amazing sound system and Time Warp worthy visuals. Last year, one of Time Warp’s building blocks; Sven Väth, could not make it. This year he will make this up to you with a three hour set during prime time. A special place goes out to James Holden, who will definitely conquer his audience’ hearts with his deep Border Community sound. We can keep it short when it comes to Michel de Hey, this Dutch showpiece will be in his element in his hometown. That Michel deserves his spot on the stage, goes without saying. Closing down, the happy crowd puller Karotte who will take 3 hours of time to make sure the people go home with a big smile on their faces. Mannheim resident Seebase will open Time Warp this year.

Area 2 (23.00 – 09.00)

The central hall is not just a random area. Last year the Discoboys and Moonbootica were present, whereas this year it’s Berlin taking over the area with ‘Freude am Tanzen’ highlights Daniel Stefanik and Marek Hemmann. The German underground heroes will be supported by Dance Department’s Dennis Ruyer, Bla Bla frontman Daniel Sanchez and Rotterdam’s building block Sandeep, who keeps the techno in Rotterdam alive these days with his own party ‘Dik’.

Area 3 (22.00 – 09.00)

Together for 4 fantastic hours! When friends Speedy J and Chris Liebing perform together, they go under the name of Collabs, the stage is hooked with all kinds of equipment and the crowd goes wild because of a vibe so special that it’s rarely felt. Improvising and electronic jamming are on these gentlemen’s programme and they are looking forward to this party! The flaming sets by Technasia and Spanish turntable king Cristian Varela must also be added to your list. You will not hear minimal techno in the second biggest hall. The Netherlands are also well represented by no other than Darko Esser and Secret Cinema (live).

Factory 10 (22.00 – 10.00)

On the upper floor of the Maassilo, Factory 10 is located. Highly qualified DJs of all over the world favour Time Warp with their visit. The main performance this night is the b2b session by Loco Dice and Marco Carola. This has never been done in The Netherlands, but frequent visitors of Ibiza know that these two bring up the best in eachother. Funky minimal fans will also be served the finest performances of artists like the Brazilian duo Clickbox and the American Gaiser. Let’s not forget that the moment of closing down will be done in a more than worthy way by icon Remy. The ball is opened here by Mannheim’s own Nekes.

The Basement (00.00 – 08.00)

The Maassilo’s basement is a case different from any other. Dirty, dark, humid, mouldy; going there for one’s pleasure? ‘No way, right?’ Guess again! For visitors who like to hear their techno music literally underground an appropriate line-up has been found, consisting of Bo & Nijs (who may be called basement residents by now), Gideon Bouwens, Size and Joey Daniel.

It is to be expected that Time Warp will sell out during the presale. Don’t make any last minute decisions when it comes to buying your ticket(s) because the Maassilo’s capacity is limited. Due to the high costs of the line-up a little increase of price was necessary.
