How do you organize your record bag?

I think this is an interesting topic for those of us who play a lot of vinyl or vinyl only.

Do you just put your records randomly in the bag or you have some method of organising?

The last time I played, I divided my bag into three parts - from deeper to more energetic stuff. It saved me a lot of time, as I always knew where to pick up records from. It's really helpful especially for warm-ups when you have to bring up the energy level very gradually and smoothly.

Great topic :!:

As I've had 5 / 6 rounds of filing old mp3 years ago - over collecting "things" by artist name, label, and then ending on mood. I think like most things we may recognize art work, covers, ect...

I've found mood or tempo - falls into two categories, down tempo and/or all day every day music aka "after hours" - or - peek hour, then sub categories.. .trip hop, classics, ect... that's way it's more on mood first - then sub genre. doing things in some backwards English filing system to me always destroyed "finding" something based on that type of filing system I pretended I'd use : but : then changing every summer...

everything else falls into a category after that really....(imo).
