parasole's skills

Post by dav.id »

Hi there,

a kind of newbie question about djing.
In this interview Parasole talk about looping some part.
Does he mean looping live from vinyle with a sampler?
I understand it could be easy with a cdj but with turntable also?
Maybe have not understood well this article.

Thanks for your lights.

I think het just plays with CDJ's so that could explain it all. If you want to loop with vinyl you should look into the Soundbite looper

He explains it quite well in the article.
He used to play vinyl until last February, when he had a run of shows where turntables didn't work. He switched to CDJs, and he now uses the built-in loop function.

oups.. sorry for the missing link.

I understand the thing with looping with cdjs.
It seems to me interesting also to sample live and play it over vinyls..
Does anyone experienced it?
