Okay, the person's German isn't das good.
I remember in German class phrases are said backwards vs the English language. Latin is the same way.
So "I bought records at the record store" would be "the records at the record store I purchased." or something like that.

hmm the verb is mostly put at the end in german if you talk in simple past
but the rest stays the same
