Club v. Lounge : round x

I was wondering if anyone preferred to play their music in clubs, or in lounges (or maybe in house parties)?

I have just started collected tracks and mixing on my own. Loving it, having great fun, however I seem to find that I like music that's a bit on the mellower side of things, but also like making people dance. I'm just curious as to where people really enjoy to play sets? so far for me, I've played house parties, and that's about it, but house parties seem to be really fun as well.

I'm not just talkin' about the music of course, I'm wondering more about the vibe / the people / the atmosphere...that sorta stuff.

i like playing at houses and underground parties more than clubs. Id rather play for 100 peeps that are there to dance rather than 500 peeps that are there to socialize.
