Starting to dislike a genre because it's suddenly become trendy is just as bad, if not worse as liking something just because it's trendy.

I like what I like, because I like it. If its trendy/untrendy and when it stopped/started being so has no impact on if I like it or not.

About the only impact 'trendy' has on my musical taste, is it may expose me to something new that I havnt heard yet, and if I like it and think its good - I'll continue to like it long after the trend is over.

You might be right mate... People need to chill out a bit!

I'm guessing this CD will be mainly tracks from Minus and Plus8, using the mix as a bit of publicity for the labels, but hey; a free Hawtin mix is always nice!!!
