opinions on the new Soundcloud

People are not very happy about the changes

Sick of Soundcloud not working with Safari. Am I the only one who has problems with it?

new is not always better:
some functions like the repost are very interesting
but overall, it is a mess,
important informations are difficult to find
the pages are not displayed correctly (artist information is not complete)
comments are difficult to read
this makes everything less interactive

Mostly prefer it, I think it looks nicer and is much more stable (the player constantly crashed on me in the old version)

It does seem much more annoying to access the lists of people you're following and who follow you, and same on other peoples' pages, though, which is kinda annoying since I quite often want to sift through the people I've chosen to follow when deciding what to listen to.

you have to click a link before you can read the comments
and you cant scroll through livesets anymore

I agree, comments are difficult to read... And, yes, I'm using Safari and the song needs to load fully before I can point the playback bar to a certain location; it's a bug.

But, it is snappier! I think it's because they're using HTML5 a lot.

Oh, man... I'm pretty sure soundcloud knows what they're doing... You can't really make such judgements from outside a company, because you're probably misunderstanding much of their business.

The general feeling, me included, is that they're trying to move the focus from the musician to the listener on the mobile platforms. So, basically, it becomes another sort of business. It feels like a big stream in this new model.

I have to say that i started using it less, since they changed the design.
