Bristol

Post by agodi »

Gonna be passing through Bristol in a few weeks time and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good bars and clubs to check out. I've had a look on RA and there seems to be a hell of a lot of places but I've no way of knowing which ones are worth a visit
Also looking for tips on good pubs doing craft beers etc.

Bristol is an interesting city. Most interesting stuff is located in the Stokes Croft/ Gloucester Road area, with many pubs there offering local ale or cider, some with very relaxed policies about certain things. Bristol can be pretty dodgy so keep your wits about you I've heard a few stories of muggings.

I'm not really a resident and out of the loop a bit, but there are good clubs, some in town, some in Stokes Croft. There are good parks that are popular with people hanging around. You might be able to catch a free party somewhere.

I like the Bristolian cafe.

Worth seeing what's on at the Cube cinema.

Maybe try the Foresters Arms on Gloucester Road to drink in?

Cheers man! The Stokes Croft/ Gloucester Road area looks like the perfect place to explore.
