Weatherall Sound

Post by jackbrazzo »

I am well into this - stuff like Spread the Hot Potato - His album Masterpiece has a few gems on it too. I am after a few more artists in a similar vibe to him - not indentical but that sort of groove - Daniel Avery ticks a box, on a more indie front the Horrors too.

Can anyone else hook me up with a few more people that are in that ilk. Netlabels also encouraged if of good quality.. (-)

check out Optimo playlists, they always nail this kinda sound and atmosphere. think they have a playlist on spotify and I'm sure you can find some mixes.

Kinda OT but IMO dance music has become removed from lots of great music that came before it that was more like rock. Lots of techno has moved away from all that soul and dirt and hope.

I had the most fun ever dancing to this a few weekends ago, from 1972!
