don't ask me why i know it, but i think some of those cases are Robert Henke's. He's a friendly guy, if all else fails you can ask him.

don't think that's it. these need to be dj cases, not just regular luggage.

and yes, some of them are monolakes, some are tobias., some are klock.

can't find anything other than the 100 lp count...would be awesome if there was one that fit a laptop, traktor / cables, and like 30 vinyl.

pffft! The prices for flight cases are ridiculous. Too much in my opinion. I mean, if you knew a bit about sheet metal working and had even a small amount of design talent it would probably be pretty easy to make one of these things. Its not exactly hi-tech stuff. The people who are milking this niche market are making a killing but then again... how many people are buying? If I had a metal working shop or even some basic metal machinery equipment I would consider making these things.

Just make them in a variety of sizes and send them to the customer with a solid block of foam inside... let them do the customization. That way you don't have to deal with pesky ethical concerns like some guy ordering a case with a bomb-like shape to be cut out.

I met a guy a few weeks back who was walking around with a Traktor flight case (advertized on the side of the case) and I couldn't help but think that carrying such a thing around makes you kind of a target. Personally I would rather get some solid hard plastic generic suitcases and then put my own foam into them, customizing the fit to my liking. That way criminals don't see some expensive gear, just some guy's used clothing.

Hey check this sh!t out. Maybe you could pick up some surplus military shipping crates. lol. when you are unpacking your gear people will be expecting you to pull out some shoulder launched missile system or something.

I have no idea what they would cost but I am willing to bet its cheaper then some company that caters to DJs.
