I fail to see the conection here. I didn't bash his name, that would be rude. I'm not trying to insult him personaly. I don't like the title 'Little Helper' even if its purpouse is for dj tools.

A great example of one copycat track after another. This is music that doesn’t go anywhere. Selection of loops no history here, no future.

@hairblz

i predict you get tired of this sound soon.

also i dont get what you mean by soul? this tracks are only DJ Tools, loops with nothing but one or two elements on top of a kick. i wouldnt even call that a track.

Your answer:

You can't be serious?

If this has no soul, then name something that does have soul . . . . Little Helper 5-5 is by far the most soulful track linked in this thread so far.
very nice track..for me the best little helper is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgY_iiLt ... re=related

not trying to insult him personally? lol... dude you made two consecutive posts that would make anybody upset reading them.

who would have thought... a minimal forum where everyone hates minimal. :) or a music forum where everyone hates on music.

Anyways... i'm not here to give butane an hj, I just don't like it when we claim music is soulless. To me this is the same as saying that its not music. Music is soul, i don't really care what kind it is.

And DUH... of course this music is really boring, doesn't go anywhere... I think that's the point of those helper albums anyways when put into context. They are all supposed to be mixed and served by the DJ. I don't think these albums were made to get more than 2 minutes of unmixed sound if that!

I like a couple of those little helper albums but its not like i'm going to tell everyone "YO!!! did you hear that new little helper?" naw...

I actually think most of these conversations are so negative because they are removed from context. You are probably at your office or music studio waiting for the coffee to brew listening to some very basic music and you are all like "sh!t this sux, i need something to make me feel a bit more real" (queue up Theo Parish)... or you could be at a dope sweaty club melting your face off having the time of your life and a little helper track could come on for a couple minutes and somehow at that moment jesus speaks to you. :)

anyways... carry on with the hatorade.
