Don't know if this will ever happen on a grand scale, theres too much ego in music and most people will follow the hype surrounding the biggest egos.

I reckon house in its various forms will continue to dominate and slow house will speed up!

In the second decade of the 21st century the so called "underground" (for lack of a better word) electronic music will gain popularity in the mainstream circles. Meaning pop acts, r&b and mainstream genres will embrace the sounds of minimal, dubstep, house, electro etc... and will produce music in those veins.

The "underground" will need to come up with something radically different if it wants to distinguish itself from the mainstream. It will be an exciting decade for sure.
