it just annoying how often discussions get started about how bad and mainstream some artists got. luckily this was pointed out again, that villalobos got very very bad, acts very very stupid and gets many many money .... still thread poster takes his time to watch ricardo videos. it seems as if theres something really fascinating about this ricardo guy, if people keep complaining about him but still keep crawling through the rv section on youtube...

For the haters his sets at fabric birthday party last weekend were vintage ricardo sounding stuff. probably the best sets ive heard all year...i feel you really need to see him play there for the proper villalobos experience

I always prefer how he plays at fabric. Its like he is at home there and can go down any crazy avenue he wants. Seen him a few times in other places and was never the same.

Saw him 3 weeks ago in after hours at Stereo, Montreal. He played a fantastic set with a huge game into frequencies, playing with sounds like a sound conductor and manytimes without bass,
Really surprising.
