I saw John Tejada perform live last night, he rocked quite a # of tunes off Parabolas album. He's definitely one of my all time favorite artists. And quite a nice person to chat with.

And yes, the album is pretty good in my opinion, but I prefer his 'Cleaning Sounds is a Filthy Business'.
Ha, ironic.

Mine too. I'm jealous, never seen him play, keep seeing flyers/ads days after the event!

Haha!!! You got me, I hadn't noticed the blatant irony... quite a nice touch :D I must've been blinded by my grief at having received the scruffy Parabolas vinyl.

BTW I got a refund from the shop in the end. Also Kompakt got in touch and were really nice; sent me out a new copy postage paid. Can't say fairer than that. The replacements had weird pressing marks but no actual scratches and the weird marks are inaudible. Very good album, particularly the first and last tracks.
