Yes, indeed a rookie artist must work his heart out, but it is always nice to leave some room for different ideas

Of course, any artist should take the liberty to go deeper and/or experiment :-)

I prefer to listen to an Ep wich includes a great "big purposes and lot of intention" track. And then there is a less tension, not so important "b side" track. For example The Prodigy's "Firestarter" included a no voice track. The song Firestarter was so good that it didn't needed any extra thing.

Despite of what I'm saying, it is the best for beginners to try their best. Thank you for your advices I think it is not easy to explain relations between labels managers and producers but you did it so good. And it is a topic that was needed to clear up because we as a producers trying to release our music sometimes we don't understand why things don't work between us.
