Berlin this weekend (19.03.11)?

Hi, im going to Berlin this weekend to visit a friend, and wanted to ask if anyone has tips where to go for partying on saturday? As saturday is obviously "tourist-day" we do not want to go to big places like Berghain, Watergate, Maria etc. as these places will be crammed. In fact i was hoping someone could point me to a cosy small or medium sized venue with good music in the Minimal/Tech-House range?

I'm also heading for Berlin this weekend. Was planning on going to the Wilde Renate on sundaymorning (you can go earlier, but this is usually the time it gets wild

).

It's on Alt-Stralau 70, all the way on the east-end of stralauer strasse. If you find yourself looking for the entrance, just knock on the door. Because from the outside it just looks like an appartment block (on the inside too actually

).

If you go there during the day you can go to the labyrinth bar, which is right next door. More of an attraction than a bar really actually.

There's a secret party website in Berlin called Restrealiatet that posts all the electroninc music events going on there.
Anyway the website is 8 years old and is hosting a huge birthday party that's going to run from Friday night till Sunday in some old building
Definintely one to check out if you after some inside tips as to what's going on.
