Well ::BLM::, you make me laugh, that's why I'm going to kill you last Sully.
it was just a general comment. loads of people say its more for relaxing then dancing, no need to be such a prick.

have you even bothered to search for dub techno?

The internet has so much info... it just looks like you are either really stupid or being lazy. if you searched this forum you would have seen loads of things on dub techno. youtube is well easy too... just type in 1xa and off you go. even if you typed in basic channel, then searched on the right hand side of the suggested titles you would end up with loads of new music. then there are the online record shops that you could have searched. many now with dub techno sections.

Ostgut Ton, Omar S, Conforce, Jonas Kopp, and so on... Our upcoming releases should also be more or less in the area you're looking *spam mode*.

It's definteley perfect stuff to mingle with some tech house and even some more 'uplifting' minimal'ish tunes. I tend to play more or less the same things.
hey there drop me a link to your section on sites like Beatport and I'll have a listen, if I like I'll certianly buy some.

Clearly, Instrusion, Rhythm & Sound etc. is more ambient and atmospheric than say, something by Brendon Moeller which is aimed more at the dance floor.

Some producers that I think make more upbeat/club-friendly dub techno:-

Luke Hess;
Brendon Moeller;
Deadbeat;
Scuba (Mostly under his SCB alias);
Levon Vincent.
Cheers kgw, the nobodies who posted thier useless cutting responses are just the usual trolls you have to put up with on these types of forums, I'll check out your suggestions but it's amazing how these supposed gods of "dub techno" can get a sarky and then NOT even bother to post something suitible for the dancefloor, I can only guess ya'll don't actually know much about dub techno in order to help out? All the producers I quoted ARE generally quite ambient and down tempo, and if as one of these DJ's seems to think they can ALWAYS be dropped in the middle of a peak time set then they most probably are playing peaktime sets in the coma ward at their local hospital. please don't be dicks it' you that give chin strokers a bad name. . . .

yeah. the stuff you posted originally is soooooo downtempo and ambient.

maybe exploring a tad bit farther in to the productions of just ONE of the people you named would have given you a wealth of information, but instead you want to start acting like a dck.

if you couldn't make it so far on the internet to find the above i just posted, then you clearly aren't doing a good job at using your fingers, your brain, or your ears, so why the hell am i going to spout off things i've spent years hunting for?

start at the beginning.
cloutier, YOU ARE A VERY SAD MAN:

Here is what I have mentioned in my OP above:

Intrusion, Seduction of Silence: http://www.amazon.com/Seduction-Silence ... 553&sr=1-1

Rhythm & sound, rhythm & Sound: http://www.amazon.com/Rhythm-Sound/dp/B ... 582&sr=1-3

Rhythm & sound, Versions, http://www.amazon.com/Versions-Rhythm-S ... 608&sr=1-1

Basic Channel, 2: http://www.amazon.com/Basic-Channel-2-V ... 631&sr=1-3

Now, tell me where the CLUB TRACKS are on them releases you spastic???

There are NONE.

Quit being a knob as it's staritng to suit you, go back and read my original post. I am glad you are angry, you have made me very happy that I am upsetting you.

Have fun!
Cheers Carlj! I'll try that site - much better of you than Clouty pants a few posts ago, posting tracks off the albums that I have already got, i don't think the guy knows ambient from dub from techno from dribble.

::BLM:: you are typing and all I can hear is blurrrr bluuurgh bluuurgh, and dribble dribble.

Read my OP again you failure of a boarder.

I asked for some recommendations. This is a forum and people sometimes ask for recommendations. I have not found any dub techno that I consider to be aimed at the dance floor. I have found plenty of stuff like the exmaples I gave above and I am happy with them for home listening. I don't think you actually know anything about dub techno do you? othewise you'd have shown your great skill and posted a good recommendation and wowed us all with your tune finding skills. you've just wasted your time.

no, seriously, the problem here is YOU don't know what dub techno is, and i think maybe you should quit pretending you do and actually listen to what people, myself included, are presenting to you.
