Sad to hear. I was planning on checking it out at some point while in Montreal. Was it better (in terms of selection) than Atom Heart? Hopefully I'll be able to go to that one next time I'm in town.

Inbeat had a really outdated selection in the last couple of years that it was around. My friend got a job there and was trying to turn things around by buying a lot of fresh music but then shortly after it closed.

I buy most of my vinyl from Atom Heart, and they always have a great selection. It's a small store but full of quality music with a focus on electronic and rock. They can also order you anything that their distributors carry, and sometimes you get the record quick but other times you'll have to wait a a month or longer depending when you make the order and where they are getting it from .

I really would recommend Atom Heart, the people that work there are friendly as well and they have a cool system where for every $10 you spend they give you a $1 coupon. Once you have enough coupons you can get a record or cd of your choice for free.
