Does a track need to be "dance floor friendly" to

non of the source sounds are plug-ins, its all hardware. The bass came from an MS2000 going through an ART PRO VLA II comp,

to be honest i reckon the whole mix is questionable haha, but iv kinda shelved it for a while as I have got carried away with new compositions..always the way!

Just thought I would let you know that after your advice on this thread i went away and worked on 'Portraits' changing the bass and adding a bit of flavour

In response to the original post, yes.

If I'm the owner of an electronic dance music label, I'd want to release music and artists that are doing just that-putting people on the dance floor. Otherwise you'll be out of business real quick.

I'd suggest it needs to be friendly for the DJs to mix it "easily" so that way more DJ's play it and then track would be more successful as more Dj's playing track equals more puntes hearing the track?
