if it was just "nostalgia" i was complaining about i'd have a diff argument. my argument is that people are stuck in the past, more than that they are unwilling to give new music a chance.

even worse than this, i am hearing cuts from "reprazent" (good album, but definitely dated for my ears), when Roni Size is still putting out new music.

so why can't the bartender play this instead of this.

Chris, my bias for old school techno is what it is. as far as late 90's dnb goes, i consider it a dinosaur, and obsolete. as far as new-school dnb goes, i don't even care for it. i enjoy ASC, dBridge, but they are expanding the genre's borders to include more styles. artists who are rehashing the old sounds are forgettable. truth is dnb/jungle got old, i moved on.
