I think we don't have a thread like this yet(food and drinks style) but now that i'm writting could be a nice propossal to have some food and drink feedbacks subforum.
Something ike the granny recipy or the drunk old man advise that you like to share or want to recommed.

Sooooo i'm drinking a really really goooood malbec wine, called "Alamos" from Catena Zapata. i think is the best argentinian wine that sells international.

so if someone is into this kind of stuff, the idea will be:

The 2005 Alamos Malbec presents a dark purple color with violet highlights. The nose offers bright black cherry aromas with light floral notes and a touch of toast. The mouthfeel is full and rich, with ripe, concentrated cassis and black raspberry fruit flavors interwoven with a touch of chocolate and sweet spice from light oak aging. The finish is long and lingering, with ripe, velvety tannins.

i try and keep it below £3 a bottle for everyday drinking. Chilean reds, even the cheap ones are always good.

i prefer not to drink everyday and drink some goodies once a week

Great topic, i love wine.. and food.
Alamos is a good, i like the Argetinian Malbec wines.

Here are some of my standard choices..

Villa Puccini (Italy)
Gran Lurton (Argetina)
7 deadly Zins (Usa)
Marqués de Arienzo (Spain)

And if you want to spend some more money..

Chateau Musar 1998 (Lebanon)
Pommard 2007 (France)
Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2007 (France)
Zenato Ripassa (Italy)
