ableton + touchscreen laptop, anyone ?

i'm with the idea of chnaging my laptop to a touchscreen one, have any of you tryed one with ableton?
i think that could be a really way to launch clips

yeah i knew it, seems really solid and fun, but maybe screen is too tiny...

its a 15 inch screen and u can connect it to a monitor. I'm kinda looking at this thing too, cause i need a new comp. Might have to part with a few things to get one though

15 inch (-) ,, that's not tiny at all :) i tought it was like 7'

yea, its a 3ghz dual core with 4 GB ram and a dvd burner, not to mention ita musical instrument. It runs Windows XP and u can install any program that u can on a reg. desktop. All the buttons and knobs supposedly can be assigned. Well, read for yourself, it doesn go into the specifics though, u have to talk to a rep.

The upcoming Apple Tablet PC is going to be revolutionary for those of us who perform either in the studio or live with programs like Ableton.

It's been being tossed around for years by Apple and the industry analysts and insiders all point to an early 2010 launch. They've been wrong before, but I think this time it's for real. Apple's smart; the iPhone got everyone "prepped" for the bigger, more powerful, and more colorful brother.
