I remeber I talked this girl Jen (she used to throw parties in ATL in like 98, i think that was her name) to bring T1000. It was a small spot and not a lot of peeps came but those who did left with there mouths open, they never heard sh!t like that.
Theres an unsung influential DJ for u by the way, Alan Oldham. This man got nasty skills behind the decks.
He had a radio show in Detroit in the late 80's that played a lot of the new music that was comming out, prob. influenced a lot of the Djs that were coming up then. I think it was called Fast Forward, the show I mean.
Who are the most influential Djs & producers of all time
but a lot of them don't know about the stuff daft punk copied. Although i think they added something significant to that sound.miniKAT wrote:How many people did daft punk copy. U think they came up with that filtered, disco influenced sound?tone-def wrote:How many people tried to copy Daft Punk?
it's all arguable. Daft Punk is great but they didnt invent the wheel.
Whoever copies is usually talentless and without creativity.
