U From what I've seen he's always smoking around his equipment. Is smoke really bad for audio equipment? Or is an old wives tale? I ask cause I smoke in my room sometimes.

I used to but wouldn't any more.

Smoke particles are quite corrosive I think... which can affect all sorts of things... chips, circuits, speaker cones.

I'm not a scientist but I don't want to risk it.
