Saw it yesterday and wasn't all that impressed. It did have some pretty interesting footage from Ricardo's studio, but most of it is in the 24h Berlin film.
Cinematically it just didn't work imo. Waaay to long cuts, especially in the club-takes. As a techno nerd it really doesn't take much to entertain me, but 10 minutes shot from the same angle at panorama bar with only slight, shaky panning - and then the same from Privilege etc. just gets pretty boring in the end. And don't even get me started on the clip where the audio is from the output of the cue-channel - starting off with a couple of minutes silence when nothing is cued up, and then the train-wrecking sounds of cueing. A big wtf-moment from most of the audience who don't know too much about dj'ing. The narrative of the movie is also pretty much non-existant.

It portrays Ricardo as a nice guy and all, but it lacks a lot of questions to take it much further than that. It wouldn't have hurt to have som interviews with other peoples understanding of him.

If you're a ricardo-fan I would definitely watch it, but it comes off as a bit of a missed oportunity in my opinion.
