actually, detroit was also very much influenced by what was happening in chicago in the late 80's... so what about that Mr. Bone?

just the fact that some producers or dj's in the US call themselves "the godfather" of whatever it is that they're doing cracks me up...

Ok i'm going to say out loud what Bone left out of the interview.....

If you're mad about what he's saying in the interview most likely it's because he's talking about you. If you ask me there is a certain point after paying your dues and reaching a certain level of skill where you have earned the right to talk some sh!t. I saw him come up over the years in Detroit and he's the real deal. He's also one of the realest people i've met in the business. He's not mad about any of that sh!t he's just saying that it's a good thing to sound different than everybody else. There is allot of stuff out there right now that just sounds the same as the next thing and it's not helping anybody.
