hi! im looking to buy a pair of cdj 400's can anyone let me know if they are worth buying. Iv just read a review of someone saying how he's starts to freeze alot now, which has really put me off.

I bought a numark icdx that takes usb directly..

saves huge hassles of burning/looking for certain cd's..

enjoyed it for the moment I had it - it also had some nice effects as well..

I personally don't enjoy pioneer anything..

well that nurmark is garbage compared to cdj's..well not sure about the 400s but 800s work really nicely for me

I disagree - its hardly junk - do you feel better if you spend more $$ on something after a 300-400% mark up. I was pointing that out due to cost reasons...

if someone is getting a 400 obviously they aren't in a position to drop $600 - $700 on a cd player...

The 400s are pretty good, but hell, even the 100s aren't bad!
I know people with both, and neither have had any problems with freezing.

The 800s and 1000s are a bit nicer, but much much more expensive. Personally, I don't think the 1000s are proportionally better than the 400s for how much more they cost.
