currently plugging through jonathan lethem's ''the fortress of solitude.''

so far, it's beautifully poetic + vividly visual. lethem's descriptions take me on a lovely journey of the sights, sounds + smells of brooklyn during the 1970s.

Dan Simmons is a genius....

Carrion Comfort & especially the Hyperion/Endymion books are phenominal..read those all many years ago
