The American Scene

Post by Hutch »

Hello fellow Americans. I know a lot of Americans read this board. Check out the next 3 weeks here in Denver :0 I know some of you live in vast places without a good scene and maybe get a headliner ever so often. Just wanna brag and say techno is alive here and well and still Underground!!! Plus we have the best mountain parties ever!! How is the scene in your city? What is the state of Techno in your city?

Oct 16-MANDY (debateable to go)
Oct 18-Joel Mull and Adam Beyer and Audiofly playing at BETA (Beatport's Home Club) not where Drumcode is :( Picking beyer and mull.
Oct 25-Damian Lazarus
Nov 1-Maetrik

dc is solid. great house and good techno. underground warehouses/lofts and lots of dirty little clubs. People are willing to throw down too. Only problems are sometimes too many good parties which splits things up a little and the bigger clubs are kinda sh!t. But thats minor stuff.

examples of recent parties - last month or so we've had Jan Kruger, Derek Plaslaiko, Carl Craig, Stewart Walker, Stacey Pullen, Fase music sender, Tamar, Ron Trent, DJ Spen, Todd Sines, Titonton Duvante, etc etc... can't remember every party... and of course the locals do their thing ;)
