Just got back from Berlin on Sunday. My friends surprised me for my birthday with a trip to Berlin. Great city. We stayed in a hostel in Alexanderplatz which was close to the main clubs:

It was nice and clean and I think they do double rooms, but you would need to book asap.

We tried to get into Berghain, got up to the door, the bouncer said "English?" we said yes, and he said, "you are not coming in" it was a bit disapointing but within an hour we were in Watergate which was excellent so it didnt spoil the night at all.
