MySpace bought out by Fox Media Corp & creates new rules
By posting Content on any public area of MySpace.com, you automatically grant as well as represent and warrant that you have the right to grant to MySpace.com, an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully paid, worldwide license to use, copy, perform, display, and distribute such information and content to MySpace.com and that MySpace.com has the right to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such information and content, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing.

This will be interesting as there are so many myspace music accounts with artists thinking that they are given a free venue to expose their music to a broad audience. But good things do not last that long so it was inevitable that there would be some sort of buy out & clause that myspace can use any & all the work that is part of their website. It's too bad really because so many talented artists will probably want to pull their music off there.
