Support your local record store!
i agree! that is why the bent crayon is the only place i go. not to mention the owner has a vast knowledge of minimal and a lot of other genres too.

I mostly buy older stuff so Discogs is my usual port of call. For fresh bits Juno or if not avaliable in the UK I use Decks or Hardwax.

Before I was internet trained I would often be found in Blackmarket, Sister Ray, Phonica & the like in Soho.

Juno mostly, sometimes Boomkat, Hardwax, Chemical, Phonica, etc. Discogs for older stuff. I pop into my local shop a couple of times a month to support them and maybe find a random gem but generally I find there's a better selection online.

I like real record shops and all that but online definitely has its advantages... it's good to be able to hear something, note it down, then listen to it later (always a good quality filter), or try to find a full sample, etc. In record shops there's often problems like poor quality decks/headphones if any, feeling a bit under pressure because people are waiting to listen, not having enough time because I've already overrun my lunch hour or running late to meet someone etc...

I guess the moral of the story is that online and bricks-and-mortar are both good in their own ways :)

Juno, Phonica and Discogs.

Juno are amazing I have shopped with them for over 5years.

Never made a mistake
Always super efficient.

I cannot praise them enough.
