mac battery

my old 12" powerbook battery wont last me more than 20 min. unplugged. i have a broken powerbook from the same time and was thinking about swapping out the batteries. is this safe? thanks people.

sure, as long as the battery is oke, there shouldn't be a problem...

download this program, it's called mini battery logger and it check's the battery power, remaining capacity etc etc etc...this program will tell if you if the battery is oke (press command+d to run the diagnostics function of the program)
