ERM!!! Can I just say - the "fairytale" entry by Blip (IX) is REAL. I AM that girlfriend - and unfortunately - as much as I really enjoy clickno and clickhouse and wigging out to minimalism (yum)... techno is, will be and has been my passion since i was 15 - I love it, I will always love it... that's 10 years, might I add.
I agree Teknorich, we are a rare breed but I live with one and am mates with a few - when you find them, you stick around and make the effort - beacuse they're ALWAYS top notch.... What happens when you take out a boyf that "likes techno" but when arriving to a club doesn't like it.... THAT'S what I wanna KNOW!!!!!

Ha ha - touché!!

Personally, I love some good, hard, nasty techno when I'm out in a club, but I much prefer the minimal vibe when I'm at home, or relaxing at the weekend. Sometimes it just feels like a bit too much when I'm trying to listen to Detroit techno after a long day in work, and my head hurts and I'm tired... But you can't beat that feeling when you're out with your friends, in a club, and a heavy-ass bass drum starts to pound!!!
